Ellen is GOLD!! We have zero regrets hiring her to film our wedding. 2020 was a crazy year for brides and she was a highlight of our wedding. There are not enough words to say about Ellen.

We had a previous awful experience with another company (had to cancel and lost a lot of money), my husband was hesitant to sign another contract, I was upfront with Ellen about this and she made it so easy and comfortable to sign the contract.

We talked about all aspects of the wedding film and everything that was important to me. I chose the ceremony film because some very important people couldn’t come to our wedding (because of Covid rules and age), we had planned something back home to show them the ceremony (shortly after our actual wedding). Ellen was super fast getting us the ceremony film and added some special features to show our loved ones before our highlight film was done.

On our wedding day there were literal natural disasters happening around us, and even bigger natural disasters happening where a large portion of guests were coming from. Half our guests cancelled the night before, obviously this was hard as a bride. Our wedding film shows all the AMAZING parts of our wedding, you would have never known that so many things were happening that weren’t ideal. Our photographers second shooter even cancelled on us last minute and Ellen was yet again to the rescue and brought another photographer to help out!

Ellen has become not only someone I highly recommend for other brides but a friend to our family. ELLEN IS GOLD

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Ellen is the most amazing filmographer. I was one of the crazy brides who kept my wedding during the pandemic... She had no problems traveling to Montana to film my day before river float with my wedding party and also the day of my wedding. She was there for me professionally and emotionally. Planning a covid wedding was incredibly stressful, Ellen helped me through all of my planning and unplanning when mandates where placed literally a week before my wedding. She helped me pull off my vision in more ways than I could have ever expected. You would never know there was only 50 people at my wedding when there was supposed to be close to 500! My film catches all the feels from the day before float on the Madison River (you won't find many filmographers who will pack all their expensive equipment into a river tube) to the next day of our intimate wedding with only immediate family being able to attend.
We have received so many compliments on our film and almost everyone said they cried and laughed with us while watching. It was so hard having the wedding without the rest of our families and close friends being able to attend. For them to be able to watch our film and feel as though they got to experience our big day with us is just such an amazing feat to pull off.
Ellen was so much fun!!! (I can't emphasize this enough) If you want a personable, outgoing and professional filmographer Morningstar Films is who you need to book! I will cherish my two days worth of film and also the friendship I've made with Ellen during our wedding weekend.
